As with most cities York has a network of Distribution Points for those in need of either regular food provisions, or one-off assistance. These take many forms. Food Banks, Pay-as you feel cafes, Church Halls, Street Kitchens etc. The objective here is to list all these locations, the services you offer and to connect Distribution Points so that excess in one area can be shared to prevent food waste and ensure that “Food goes in mouths, not in the bin”. We can’t all succeed all the time. But we can do better by connecting.
